Predictable but solid design Looks and design is one area where we do not really see any dramatic changes unless the devices belong to the premium segment. In the more humble mid-segment, we generally see just a few changes that help us differentiate one device from the other. Well, the Z17 Mini’s case is no different. While Nubia has its own stamps which say “Nubia,” the device does not “really” stand out in terms of design....

Most of the devices with glass backs are usually considered hard to repair. The chances are that the glass back might crack if more pressure is applied. However, on the OnePlus 6, things take a different turn. According to iFixit, the glass cover on the OnePlus 6 is relatively easy to fix. Build and Design Both the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 8 share a similar design language. Glass on both sides with the back having a frosted finish. The OnePlus 7T has a unique camera arrangement on the back with a circular module while the OnePlus 8 has a more conventional vertical alignment. You also get some pretty interesting colors with the new OnePlus 8 like Glacial Green and Interstellar Glow....

A familiar shade of Nord-ic blue We received the Bahama Blue variant of the OnePlus Nord CE 2. It reminded us very strongly of the original Nord, which had a similar shade, although with a slightly different finish. At a time when some phones are going for the “flat side and back” design formula, the Nord CE 2 sticks to a curved back and slightly convex sides and pulls it off very well indeed....

Got the looks The Oppo Enco Free does a good job in terms of design. The buds come in a very compact charging box that is about the same height and width as that for the AirPods (2nd generation) but is significantly thicker. The buds are connected magnetically to the case and the box also shuts magnetically – a good touch. We got the black variant (it is also available in white and pink), which is made of sturdy plastic and has a matte rather than glossy finish and does not pick up scratches and smudges easily....

The Oppo F3 Plus comes fitted with a 6-inch FHD JDI 2.5D curved display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. Xiaomi’s Redmi 4A, now, is a very different kettle of photographic fish. In terms of numbers, there is nothing about the Redmi 4A’s camera which would make you jump out of your seats.
