Priced at Rs 9,999, LeEco will initially make the Le 1s obtainable in New Delhi and Mumbai which will be followed by 70% of the stores across the country by the end of this year’s September. Interestingly, this isn’t the Eco variant announced recently that bundles a free entertainment package of LeEco services. Additionally, the company claims it has arranged 555 service centers in India offering 24×7 toll-free customer support. This step will definitely assist LeEco in boosting its sales which have taken a hit in the past couple of weeks due to some recent launches from its competitors. Commenting further on the substantial move, Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronics Business of LeEco India stated “We have fast-tracked our growth trajectory in India and our entry into the physical retail space affirms it. Since our India launch, we’re thrilled to have seen an incredible response from users and this landmark announcement is a step ahead in making our Superphones more accessible to our users. In the near future, also plan to have our own wholly owned retail stores across the country.”
Recapping the specifications, the LeEco 1S features a 5.5-inch Full HD panel, an Octa-core Helio X10 processor backed up by 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory, and 3000mAh battery pack. Moreover, it also sports an all metal build, a fingerprint sensor on the back, Android Lollipop, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras. Moreover, it supports Dual SIM, fast charging and comes with a USB Type-C port.
