The Galaxy Note 4 continues to have the same faux-leather back cover, but now has a metal band wrapping running around the edges are now in the same color as the phone itself, instead of silver chrome lining on the Note 3. The new display gives a pixel density of 518 PPI which is just stunning. The S Pen holster is etched into the right corner of the phone and the microUSB 3.0 port along with the speaker grille is located at the bottom of the device. The Note 4 is about 8.5mm thick and weighs about 176 grams. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 4 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, Adreno 420 GPU and whopping 4GB of RAM. The phone will be available in multiple storage options – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, with microSD expansion up to 128GB. Like before, Samsung will be bringing the Exynos version of Note 4 to some countries (including India). That will be octa-core processor with four Cortex-A57 clocked at 1.9GHz and four Cortex-A53 running at 1.3GHz, Mali-T760 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Snapdragon variant will offer LTE Cat.6 (300Mbps) connectivity, while the Exynos version gets LTE Cat.4 (150Mbps). The Note 4 runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the latest version of the home-backed TouchWiz UI on top. The S-Pen has also got an upgrade, both in looks as well as the functionality. Samsung has partnered with Mont Blanc for enhancing S-Pen. The Galaxy Note 4 has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX240 camera sensor rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera is accompanied by a dual-LED flash and is capable of capturing 4K videos at 30fps. The front camera is capable of shooting images and videos in WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). The connectivity options for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS with GLOSNASS and 4G LTE support. As for the battery, it comes with 3,220mAh battery which looks humongous, but then it needs to power a large screen QHD display. The Galaxy Note 4 will be available starting from October and there is no official word on the pricing just yet. The phablet will up for grabs in frosted white, charcoal black, bronze gold and blossom pink color options.
