As already mentioned, the Mi Router 4C includes four high-performance omnidirectional antennas that claim to offer a better range and boost stronger signal strength, while also offering low-latency for better online gaming and content streaming. The router comes with support for the 2.4GHz band and offers up to 300Mbps of speed. Sadly, it lacks the 5GHz band. The router comes with 64MB of DDR2 RAM, which Xiaomi suggests can connect up to 64 devices at a time. Additionally, there is One-Touch Mi Wi-Fi App control that helps you view and control your router’s settings remotely and also alerts you when a new device connects to the router. Besides this, the app also offers the convenience to block certain devices, set time limits, or even blacklist certain online activities, all from your phone. Furthermore, there is also Wi-Fi Optimization, which, just as it sounds, allows you to boost Wi-Fi speed and reduce bandwidth bottlenecks with a single tap, along with the option to manage and allocate bandwidth as per your usage requirements.
